30 minutes of phone time so we can discuss what your needs are and how I can help. We will discuss many things, including but not limited to, your goals for your child, your concerns, how much time you have available, what the costs are. I ask all potential clients to think about it overnight before making a decision. If you have further questions feel free to email me. Once you decided you are happy to go ahead we will schedule an assessment for your child.

Assessment:  Usually 2 Hours (£55 per hour).                            £110

The assessment in your home.  I use the ABLLS-R assessment to identify your child’s current skills level in a range of areas that include visual, language, social and planning. This information is used to find the correct starting point for your child.

Program Development: Usually 1 1/2 Hours (£50 per hour) £75

Once the assessment is complete, we will meet to discuss what your child’s program will look like and how it will be delivered. We will decide which goals to prioritise, the behaviours that concern you and how to address them, and which skills we need to teach. These goals typically cover many different skill areas and behaviours.

Parent Training: Usually 2 Hours (£55 per hour) £110

You will be teaching your child, but I will give you all the training that you need. For each skill to be taught, a lesson plan is created, so all those working on the program teach your child in the same way.  Skills are broken down in to small steps which are taught in a specific order. You will learn the basics of ABA, how to teach each skill and how to measure your child progress. You will receive a folder containing lesson plans, data sheets, resource lists and tips. In this session I will go through each program with you and your child. You’ll get the opportunity to practice and I’ll give you feedback.  

Ongoing Charges (After Initial Set Up)

Ongoing Assessment: This is a vital component of your child’s ABA Program. Progress is assessed frequently and used to make programming decisions.  Lesson plans are continuously updated to ensure that your child does not miss an opportunity to learn. At a minimum I recommend that we talk on the phone bi weekly and do an in home visit every 4 to 6 weeks. This is essential to ensure that programs are being taught correctly and that data is being monitored to make informed decision about how to progress your child. You and I will discuss how your child is doing with each behaviour / skill being taught. We check your teaching method and adapt if needed. We will also discuss adding new skills.

Assuming we meet in person every 6 weeks your ongoing charges would be as follows

Progress Checks by Phone on Week 2 and Week 4 (£30 per hour) £60

In home Consultation on Week 6 (£55 per hour) £110

TYPICAL ONGOING COSTS (Every 6 Weeks) £170

* If any session go over the estimated times above, the costs will increase. Consulting hours are broken into 15 mins slots. So if we go over by 10 mins you wont be charged for an additional hour, just for 15 mins. I send invoices after each session so that you don’t end up with a large bill at the end of the month.
